A series of screen printed posters and greeting cards by Daniel Eatock that explored the structuring of posters and the hierarchies they follow. He handed out the blank templates to other graphic designers and illustrators to complete. The use of newsprint was to encourage people to write and draw on them.
'These things are incomplete, they rely on a second person, not the designer, to add something to it.
Example of utilitarian design.
This can be a potential concept for my practical piece because it questions authorship by allowing anyone to create the content, even if they're not a designer. The prescribed grid systems also question authorship because they create neutral design that avoids self expression.
